Monarch Takes Flight in Miami

Before a large audience of manufacturers, suppliers, emergency response professionals, investors, industry experts and government leaders at the 2023 Natural Disasters Expo in Miami Beach, Monarch Weather & Climate Intelligence demonstrated examples to Prevent and Mitigate Risk by Providing Valuable Climate Insights to improve our Global Future.

At the two-day convention, Monarch’s team was among 300 exhibitors and 100 speakers. The Woman-Owned company, founded by Crystal Egger and Kathryn Prociv showcased the best Weather, Climate and Geographic Information System (GIS) tools for disaster and emergency response.

The Expo was described as a Hub of Innovation and Collaboration for the United States and the World.

The inspiring seminar was highlighted by Monarch’s solutions to mitigate extreme weather and climate risk, drive profitability and positively impact communities around the world.

“Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are used as an integrator for all data and terrain. Through dynamic, statistical AI/ML modeling, GIS impact models pull geospatial insights from weather patterns. GIS allows Monarch to combine weather and climate data with topographical inputs to assess hyper-local insights and address specific answers and/or solutions to client pain points.” ~Crystal Egger, President of Monarch.

Monarch’s Meteorologists discussed the importance of Unleashing the Power of Technology and the valuable discoveries through a series of Case Studies.

“Recently Monarch worked with a large real-estate investment portfolio located in southeast Asia providing a flood inundation assessment for a highly populated, vulnerable metro area prone to flooding. Monarch’s insights were used directly for a go/no-go investment decision regarding purchasing properties across the city.” ~Kathryn Prociv, EVP of Monarch.
The presentation was followed by several questions from attendees enhancing the conversations about the importance of acting now to be prepared for the next major weather event. Monarch's message was clear: Better to be proactive than reactive to these increasingly disruptive events.
"While we can't stop extreme weather events from happening, we can help people and businesses mitigate risk. The overarching theme of the Expo was just that - we are better and stronger together." ~Crystal Egger, President of Monarch.

From the presentation to one-on-one meetings, Monarch showed industry leaders what is needed to positively position their business in our changing climate. Harnessing the Power of Weather and Climate Intelligence.
